Sunday morning was a very interesting one. I got a call from my cousin Alexis (30ish, actress/voice over person, lives in NYC, pretty cool) at about 9:30, telling me she's in town working on a short film and my mom told her I'd probably be willing to help out, so I figure, why not, I go and meet her boyfriend and some random people at the skate park and ride out to Minetto where I'm cast as a thug zombie for an entry George A. Romero's short film contest. Actually, I showed up in a hoodie and Lex put her skater thug hat on me, but I like to think of myself as a thug zombie. I spent the morning staggering through the snow in a very impressive undead fashion and also teaching everyone the finer aspects of zombie survival (including why their film was flawed because really when its that cold traditional zombies would just freeze up and pose little to no threat). But anyway, as soon as I get the link to the movie, everyone needs to go on MySpace and vote for it a billion times. The top 10 movies get reviewed by George A. Romero and he picks his 5 favorite to go on the Diary of the Dead DVD when it's released. So, as soon as I get the link be prepared for me to order you to vote for it!
PS. Guitar Hero on the huge projection screen at the Raven because my crew pretty much runs the joint is kind of sweet. Also...1 month and a couple days til Europe!!!!!
