(no subject)
!!! what a weekend!!!
So as most people probably know by now...got engaged this weekend!! Mike totally surprised me:-) We had decided to take a weekend trip this past weekend and first were thinking syracuse, then switched to toronto. So got up there friday night, went to the royal ontario museum which was nice, then drinks and appertizer after, sat. went to the science center which was tons of fun, i love that place. Then to a play "A Midsummer Nights Dream" done 80's style, it was very very funny, the kid who played the "lion" was hillarious and his dancing was even more so..lol. So that was alot of fun, then we decided to get a late dinner after that is was around 10 by then. Went to this really classy italian place, got some good eats and more martinis..lol, my new fav drink, and just about finished up eating and Mike starts saying how happy he is and etc, then pulls out the box and gets on one knee! It was so cute, i started tearing up and of course said yes, the ring is just what i wanted, the stones are beautiful, he did a great job. Needless to say his family was all super excited about it, they have all been waiting for this day, esp his grandmas..lol. So it was a most excellent weekend:-) It's weird to be wearing a ring everyday now, haven't worn a ring in years and years, since like 9th grade. Of course mama Borst had to start planning the wedding as soon as she heard..lol, she is too funny. It's weird how people seem to sense it or something, out of the blue, Jen Spike IM's me tonight, and i hadn't even emailed her about it, cause i lost her email years ago...and for whatever reason she was online just now so we talked and i told her about it. She lives in buffalo now! So we are def gonna plan a get together sometime. Everyone at work was happy for me and lots of sigma's have sent their congrats:-) and all my friends here are all super happy for us. Now just gotta figure out when we want the wedding, i am voting for this fall, but mike says next spring..lol, we shall see. Apparently he had picked up the ring on my bday and had kept it a secret all this time, cept had told, laura, steph and sabrina...i am surprised sabrina didn't blurt it out...lol. So he did a good job, i had no suspicions whatsoever. So was def one of the best days of my life, and i am very very happy!! And as Ted says...time to start making babies;-) lol, right...or not.

The Ring...course minus the bling bling and sparkle, the camera doesn't capture that, and the sapphires look a little dark in the pic, but in real life they are very clear....it's soooo nice:-)
