Hi Live journal land! Haven't written in a while. I live in Virginia now, and things are alright. But one thing bothers me. You know how when you go to college, and they talk about the freshmen 15? Well, I think the navy is worse. I call it the navy 30. I've gained 30 pounds since I've gotten into the fleet. Why? Because this is what happens. You join the navy, and you go right to boot camp. You get your ass kicked with excercise. You lose weight. Then you go to "A" school, and they teach you your job. You exercise 3-4 times a week, mandatory. And you either lose more weight, or at least don't gain any. Then you go to your first command. And you don't have to exercise. And you can drink. And eat whatever you want. So you go nuts. And...I gained 30 pounds. So I had to start running. And eating healthy. And quit smoking. It's bullshit. Sigh. I'll be skinny again in about 3 months. God dammit.
