The Intel Core 2 Duo STOMPS the AMD X2 AM2 (these are supposed to be equals). Normally one does better in some scenarios than the other and vice-versa. But the Intel sucker beat AMD in 95% of the 250 different tests from scientific to graphics to internet applications. Everything. I'm staying Intel (and Asus). Research continues.

If Unreal Tourney 3 wasn't coming to Xbox 360 (ableit later than the PC and PS3 versions), I'd buy a new rig.

... or should I anways. I've been watching Batman Begins (the 1080p) version and I have to turn off all my other processes and put it on REALTIME priority to get it to run well. The glory of Batman in 1080p almost makes me want to get an HD DVD drive.
