Boy...where to start...
Well, I'm quite embarrassed about the lack of journaling. 6 months and nothing...I never said I wasn't a slack.
First up...I got a new job in September, doing design and pre-press for a local Alphagraphics store. The pay's the same but at least I have my own office, and I don't have some beligerant asswipe of a boss telling me that I'm "the dumbest turd in the universe!" But it's more of a lateral move. I still have to put up with ignorant sales personel and I don't have the luxury of a 3-4 day turnover. 24 hours is all I get for some of the work I have to fix. I guess this is how Rumplestiltskin felt like, turning straw into spun gold for some lazy, good-for-nothing person with no skills. 'Tis my lot in life I guess.
Second...I got a new place. My apartment was getting too pricey so by pure chance, I happened upon this 2 bedroom house that's 3/4 of a mile from my office. It's sooooo swank! I can play my tunes as LOUD as I want due to the fact that it's all brick. No more complaints from the neighboors. AHAHAHAHAH!!!
That's the major stuff...I still have no internet yet. COX has black-listed me from high-speed due to my obsessive compulsive downloading habits, so I must find an alternative. Which means that I'll probably have to go DSL (groan). Better than dial-up though.
The only other thing is DirkDigital.com. I decided to put all my interests, graphics, and other junk under one banner. I should be done my the end of next month.
So, what have we learned today...
If you excercise a lot, you don't have enough energy to be mad all the time.
