Just like drweird on the other side of the pond, I lets will offer limited tape trading/ep requests to help those who don't know how, are too scared, or don't have the means to aquire the shows they want to possess.

Only a handful of warn-out tapes, yearning for more, more, MORE....Not everyone has a fast connection to the internet or the patience it takes to download episodes from less-than-stable P2P filesharing networks and spyware-laden programs. So I reach out to them in their quest like others have reached out to me. The only thing I guarantee is that if you send me CD-Rs and the postage to ship them back to your address, I will record whatever shows I have available for you, fellow MSTie.

Now, with that said, we have to lay down a few ground rules:
1. IM me with the super extreme ultra maxi-secret password phrase* on YahooIM at mushroomsarefun. This get will be our primary source of communication. I'm on most of the time while I'm at home. I'll then send you a list of episodes I have. I don't have 'em all, but I'm downloading all the ones I can get my grubby little fingers on, so the collection keeps getting bigger. (Screaming Skull has proven to be the most elusive so far) Also I will give you my corporate address so you can send your CD's. We can do postage via PayPal. I use UPS exclusively 'cause I get a wicked good rate. The amount of postage will of course be determined by your location and how fast you want it shipped. I find that UPS ground is the best value. More on shipping later on.
2. I CAN ONLY FILL ONE OR TWO REQUESTS PER WEEK. If someone asks for, say 30+ shows, that my be all I this can do that week. My hope is to get a request by Monday and send shows the following Monday. Basically a one week turnaround. No promises though.
3. YOU BUY, PACK AND SHIP THE CDS IN A BOX I WILL USE TO SEND BACK TO YOU. (Sorry if I'm a bit repetitive but I can't stress this enough.)
If you got styrofoam peanuts, use 'em. You'll get 'em thing right back. If not, a bunch of newspapers do the trick very well. If you're really serious, lots of bubble wrap is the best. But whatever you do, pack your CDs in SOMETHING! A good box is also very helpful and appreciated. As a rule of thumb, you get what you pay for, and hey, it's MS3k for Pete's sake.
4. ONE CD-R FOR ONE EPISODE. FOR EVERY 10 EPISODES, INCLUDE ONE EXTRA DISC IN CASE OF AN ERROR IN THE BURNING PROCESS. If I don't use it for a re-burn, I can either return it or put another episode on it. If I have more than a couple of reburns, then I may dip a little bit into my stash. More than 4, I send you what I have and lament over my computer.
I prefer 52x 700MB CDRs. It's no fun using a 52x burner on a 4x CDR. Do the math...4x CD-R = 20 minutes...52x CD-R = 3 minutes! Maxell makes a good CD-R *'wink, wink* Also, I've found that small boxes work the best. If you only want one or two, use one of those disk mailers. If you are looking for the "Big Score". a spindle of 10, 25 or 50 shipped in a small box via UPS or FedEX will yeild much better results. I get awesome deals using UPS which is almost always cheaper for me than the USPS or FedEX. Normally, shipping something, say a 50 pack of CD-Rs UPS Ground shouldn't cost over $10.00 for me to ship to your address. THAT IS NOT A GUARANTEE. We will negotiate postage price during our repore. And calculation takes about 10 minutes with cost for 1, 2 day shipping or ground. Anything less than UPS Ground isn't worth the effort. Regular shipping includes the 48 states only. Screw you, Canada!!! If you want me to ship to Canada, it'll cost you big time. Payback for Rowsdower, eh?! *hehehe*
5. I DON'T DO TECH SUPPORT. PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
If needed, I can supply you with a CD with Winamp 5.0 Freeware Version, the latest Divx Freeware Codec which, if you keep your system up to date, should be all you need to play the episodes. If your computer is more than 3 or 4 years old, you might have some problems. If you can play DVDs on your computer you should be able to play these episodes just fine. 95% of my episodes are direct DAP downloads. AVI file format. I don't do video started tapes nor VCDs. These are the raw files available for download at any number of P2P networks. I also won't copy those that are available for purchase. Go and buy them you damn cheapskate. Besides, they'll keep releasing 'em if we keep buying 'em. Where there's a profit, there's ALWAYS a way.
