The party Saturday night kicked ass. You'd be surprised at how many liquor stores close at 6pm on a Saturday. I got pretty blitzed. We played a highcard/lowcard drinking game that I lost at. Steph left early. She wasn't feeling well the last few days. A LOT of people showed up!
Adam came. That was cool. We had a falling out two years ago. In a nutshell, he slept with my girlfriend. We started speaking about a year ago, of and on. It's not like I'm mad anymore. Mistakes happen. I know he's sorry. He's told me. We gathered a group together to go smoke up. It was weird. Like old times.
Myself, Adam, and his girlfriend Katrina were the last ones outside. I asked Katrina if me and Adam could have a minute alone. His face was priceless. I don't think he knew what the hell I was going to do. I don't know how I looked. Half drunk, probably. I felt pretty clear-headed at the time though. Anyway... I looked at him in the eye and said, "I just want you to know that I forgive you for what you did."
I think it was relief that he felt. So we talked. I don't believe that it was worth losing a long friendship over. To be honest, there's no resentment. Still, two years. I had a long time to think about the whole thing. So we talked. Got some things out of the way.
I wanted to stay angry at him forever. I couldn't. It felt good to give my forgiveness to someone.
I got really fucking drunk. I can't remember what time I passed out. I think I made it to midnight. I had a really good time, apart from the shitty harcore music they played to appease a couple people.
I puked. I was surprised at how much better I felt after I did. Thanks Chris. Awesome party. Thanks for the use of your bed to pass out in. But I'm sure you didn't mind your sleeping predicament!
Today was nice. Nothing too fancy. I bought Steph some tulips and made her dinner. Rigatoni primavera. It was pretty good. We watched Shrek 2. That's a great movie. They spoof EVERYTHING! She was in a car accident yesterday. Stupid guy rear-ends her at a stoplight and takes off. Witnesses got the licence plate though. She's sore so she's gonna get some physio therapy out of ICBC.
T minus 2 weeks till I'm onto bigger and better things. Speaking of that, there's an open house at the art institute of BC. 9:30. Saturday Some of you guys should come with me.
