home again
so i've just arrived home from hamilton island as a end-of-exams type holiday with mary and her fam which was ace. i'm a little burnt. it was like 30 degrees the whole time, we went snorkelling and tube-riding and jetskiing and heaps of stuff and basically downed a whole lot of cocktails (my favourite part). not as many good looking guys as i would have liked, but that's a-ok. basically it was excellent.
but it's great to be back in melbourne weather, daylight savings and no humidity or sand, haha. i'm actually a little tired. went to the school art exhibition just then to see my own work (just kidding, i went to meet my mum and because mary was going anyway).
went to goo on thursday. pretty short night really, i was only out for a couple of hours. i hate punk kids sometimes (only the ones i don't know). i just hate all the effort people seem to make in attempt (successful or unsuccessful, either way) to be cool. i really dont see the point and plan to spend my entire life being severely uncool. i think my love for cliff richard and my raging vegetarianism help me out a bit there, but i keep trying.
might actually go to goo this thursday again cuz there's free drinks for an end of exam celebration. yay, free drinks.
i have an interview on wednesday for a tafe course, my first interview. how scary. i had to sit an entrance test for it which consisted of drawing pinecones, which i soon discovered were probably the earths most difficult objects to draw, and writing essays about the course. oh yay. or not. anyhoo, i have an interview then another 5 or so. it sucks. so i havent really bothered getting excited slash relaxed about exams ending, cuz i still have things to worry aboot. and i still have to find a freaken job. pfft.
