"Lower your guns even if love turns to spite"

I'm really looking forward to spring break. Matt, Quentin, and I are heading to Denver to see our friend Holly who we worked with at the Petsupermarket on Lake Worth Road. Quentin is still working there but he's heading up to go with Matt and I. We'll be in Denver for a whole 5 days. So far we're planning to tour the Coors Brewery, go on this long train ride through the mountains, and Holly's younger friend is going to take us to downtown Denver and go clubbing. I'm really excited about it. It should still be snowing when we go(March 7-March 12). I'm really glad we've planned it out too, it's gonna be a pretty cheap trip. I'm thinking about planning a trip to Amsterdam or London next year. It'll proly just me be and Matt and maybe one other person because too many people= too many opinions. London would be sweet cuz I already know English and...it's London, but Amsterdam would be great because there's also a lot of history there(Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank House, etc..), I could drink German and Dutch beer, and I could practice my German and learn some Dutch since it is somewhat similar to German. Red Light District anyone?

I finally decided what my second minor is going to be. I've been debating over Political Science for a while and I really enjoy my Politics of the EU class, but I wasn't sure if Philosophy would suit me better. Then I found out there is a minor entitled "European Studies." After reading over the requirements I found it'd go great with my History major and my German minor. I'd say about 75% of the classes required for the minor are classes I have to take for German and History anyways. Also, it's going to help me specialize for graduate school. I'm also hoping to apply for a Fulbright Grant and go to graduate school in Germany. I figure I can specialize in German history and either teach in the US or maybe stay in Germany...we'll see.

Last night I had a social with all the other applicants for the RA Selection weekend. It was ok. Tomorrow I have a "Group Process" at 9:45AM and two individual interviews at 12:45 and 1:15. The group activity should be cool. Last year when I applied to be an RA, they had me and 3 or 4 other applicants work together on two different activities for 10-15 minutes while a couple RAs watched and took notes on how we worked together. If we have to make a map of all the United States again I will dominate..idk if that'd be a good thing.

Erik and I have been working out consistently for the past 2 weeks and I feel great. Despite being sore everywhere I feel a lot better than I did when I first got up here after my last back surgery. We've been working out hardcore, separating muscles groups throughout the week and always starting out with cardio and always working abs if they're not already fucked up. If I can, I'm going to start going to yoga classes occasionally because I see no purpose in having strong muscles you can't control. It should help with my flexibility too, although I'm sure I'll look like a lil bitch because I can't do some of the stuff cuz of my back. W/e, at least I'm making progress.

Zach Williams...seafood festival? While we're there you should teach me counters in front of my brothers so they can see that they shouldn't fuck with J-Baum...jk jk. I am looking forward to stuffing myself next Sunday though.

Oh yea, Wolfmother got a Grammy. Fucking rock they do :)
