Step one: Open iTunes
Step two: Press 'Shuffle'
Step three: See if the songs line up to your life's movie soundtrack.
Step four: Write them down in order and watch them magically match up and help you realize how your life would have been/will be better when you listen to these songs while performing said actions
Step five: Cry miserably because you know that a movie of your life would be so much better than reality.
opening credits: Rock & Roll - Led Zeppelin (Well of course. It HAS been a long time since I Rocked and Rolled.)
waking up: Let me Drown - Soundgarden (First track on the album, so why not?)
first day at school: Get Free - The Vines (That's how I felt in school, alright)
falling in love: Boyz in tha Hood - Dynamite Hack (Yeah, that don't quite work. Though it does mirror my life in many ways)
fight song: Down - 311 (I can see that. I guess my fights are firmly trapped in 1996)
breaking up: El Scorcho - Weezer (Ooo, that works pretty well. Though I can pretty much only associate this song with Seth)
prom: New Skin - Incubus (My proms were never this caffeinated)
life: From the Earth to the Moon Theme - Michael Kamen (Ooo, how hopeful, yet epic. Sounds like my life)
mental breakdown: Hours of Wealth - Opeth (What a depressing mental breakdown. I was hoping I'd flip out and kill people.)
driving: Back in Black - AC/DC (I wish I was this cool when driving.)
flashback: Dear God - Tricky (What a sexy flashback...)
wedding: Devil Went Down to Georgia - Primus (I always knew it'd be a redneck wedding)
birth of a child: You know what you are? - Nine Inch Nails (Wow, I must really really hate this baby! Or maybe this is what my wife is screaming at me during labor. Sucks to be her.)
death scene: Wrong Way - Sublime (I always knew I'd die in Long Beach)
funeral song: And She Was - Talking Heads (I guess I lived a pretty good life)
end credits: Annhilation - A Perfect Circle (When did my life turn into a whispered political statement? Not that I'd mind)
C'mon reply with your version. I'm curious.
