She's pretty hot, but not as hot as Hips, who has the pedestal as the ultimate hottie in his book. ;D Really though, Dirk can tell Sarah's pretty intelligent and very practical, and she reminds him of that nurse that set his broken nose in 'The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul'. Attractive, but probably too smart and no-nonsense to ever put up with his shenanigans. She's good for a drink and some conversation, but she's taken and even if she weren't it'd never work. Although that last part's true for pretty much every woman he's ever met.
T.C. can really empathize with Ryan's quest to protect people from something, and sacrificing a lot for that. The only difference is that what T.C. is out to protect people from is himself. He respects him though, and likes him better than he wants him to know. There aren't many people who are willing to put up with his grouchiness as well as Ryan does. It also bugs him that Ryan saw him as Tamh. He'd both love to know more about that incident, but he also knows he'd be bitter that as Tamh he could get along better with Ryan. Anyways, in case you were wondering, he's seen enough of Ryan that he'll remember who he is. I need to play him again.
At first Rat felt a little awkward around Sarah because he felt like he was hanging out with another guy's wife. Even innocently, that's not cool in that era. He's gotten over it though. Sarah means a lot to him because she was the one who sat down with him and gave him the full truth. He thinks of her as a very good friend, maybe one of the best he's got right now. I think he feels a little like an uncle or something towards her and Schreber both.
