David Drake
Showed a friend of mine my writing, and he said it reminded him alot of the writing of David Drake. Is that a compliment? He said if it were a finished novel, he would buy it, based on what I showed him.
All I've seen of David Drake is a ton of military Sci-Fi on the bookstore shelf, with titles like "Grimmer than Hell" and "Hammer's Slammers." Not sure how to take that. I suppose it's good if he thinks my writing is of the same quality as a fairly prolific published author.
