Goodbye WiFi :(
I'll be going back to my Batcave in a couple of hours or so, right after lunch. No more wifi goodness for me until Saturday night, but I do hope that I'll get to log on from time to time while I'm away!
The past week had been completely... unproductive? I've had an awesome time watching tennis but have not made much time for reading, fail self. Okay that's a bit of a lie. I read a lot. Just, I watched tennis a lot more than I read. Either way it was a good week away from school and I'm back to stressing my ass off. Joy.
Speaking of tennis, I've been watching a lot of the WTA and I'm finding myself enjoying the matches. I know more than 3 WTA players now (trust me, that's an improvement from way back) and actually have favorites! Aside from Dinara and Jelena, I find myself emotionally invested in Masha's game, and I like watching Dementieva and Kuznetsova. Okay so I like the Russians, surprise surprise! Seriously though, my interest in the WTA will probably never equal that of my love for the ATP but still, I enjoy watching the women play and listen to their various shrieking skills, lol.
In other news, I don't think I've really talked about this on here ('coz I learned not to preemptively squee about my plans 'coz they end up not happening) but now that's it's confirmed:
GLORY GLORY I'M WATCHING MAN UNITED!
25 days to Shanghai and it's going to be amazing ♥ In place of the trip I want to take in October but can't (school schedule for motherfucking lose), I decided to join ballischiq in shamelessly stalking our bb loves all the way in China. It still sucks for me that I can't watch Marat in October (it depresses me so much, ngl) but hey, it's United! It's our boys! It's GIGGSY!
And if you were me and my cousin, you will have to have a twisted sense of humor to laugh at our predicament because the main reason why we wanted to see United (aside from the fact that they own our souls) was because of Ronaldo and Papi (that's Tevez to the uninitiated), and well, look what happened there ;p Still, it's going to be an awesome 3 days and even though I'll be going to Shanghai for reasons that did not end up being related to tennis, it'll be great to have time off and watch Manchester fucking United OMGFLAIL.
... And this news will only be received with a resounding meh from my Flist, with the exception of headspin_x, the one other United fan, lol. How did it work out that I've got more Liverpool fans on my Flist? Am I a masochist or what? :p
