You know, after crying I feel somewhat relieved that this is all over. I HAVE MY LIFE BACK. I can sleep! I can read! I can do basically everything I've neglected to do because of Rafa and his potential fifth, now that that dream's dead I don't give a shit anymore about what happens next.
I know I should stay on and watch Roger win his 14th but knowing that he won't be getting it from Rafa is just too much for me. I WANTED THEM TO SHARE THAT MOMENT. And now there'll be some other guy on the other side of the net WHO'S NOT RAFA and that is such an epic buzzkill. So yeah, I love you Roger I do, but I'll see you around where the grass is.
Yeah same, I can actually read my law books in preparation for school instead of messing about with streams! I'm done with tennis for now, is it Queens yet?
Basically at this point RG is Roger's to lose. Nole's out and Rafa's out, Nando's better on clay than Mandy is, but even then they aren't at any level as good as Rafa is on clay. If he doesn't win it all then I seriously won't know how to process that!
If anything can happen and Roger's not the one to win it then I sincerely hope it's Nando who does. I would say Jo-Wilf but I DO NOT want to give the French crowd any kind of satisfaction even though I love Jo to bits. I want them all to turn blue and choke on their own spit for being so revolting to not just Rafa but to Marat as well.
When I've calmed down, I think I'll stick to Dina's matches and some of Roger's, men's tennis is too fucked up for me right now.
I'm not much of a WTA fan either but Dinara's the only reason why I stick around. Did you know she was watching Rafa's match? Makes me a bit wibbly just thinking about it.
Nando didn't make it either, sigh. This season's RG must really be the season for epic surprises.. Roddick for 2009 champ may not be as laughable as it usually is y/y
