I freaking love Dinara.
Aside from her obvious tennis skills, her hot brother (omg her hot brother) and her ability to make the big bucks, I can completely relate to her which is a rare thing to have with any athlete, no? She's so brutally honest in all her interviews but sometimes she's just too hard on herself. I want to give her a big hug even though she's about a thousand inches taller than me, lol!
And no interview with Dina is complete without a few questions about Marat:
Does Marat support you in difficult situations, give you some advice?
Once I collapsed on him. I was crying, "Who am I, exactly? I'm just your sister, nothing more!" When that came out of me, he said, "Stop talking bullshit, you are you and everything will be fine." He’s always said that. And I know that I have him behind me like a stone wall.
Do you ever fight?
Now we have a very close relationship. He worries about me, and I worry about him. If something happens with me, he is always near. Marat is very open, kind, honest. I think that’s the best kind of person.
I LOVE THEM. It saddens me that Dinara always gets asked questions about her brother (coz it seems like it can't ever be just about her) but I love how she always answers them eagerly and with just so much admiration for Marat. Have I said that I freaking love them? Dina is totes my girlcrush, if you couldn't tell by now! Which makes it a bit awkward considering I am in love with her brother.
Speaking of Marat. It has been ONE WEEK and I still cannot enter his official site. I've asked a few people to check if they can access it (click here if you want to try too) but they can't either. WTF INTERNETS WTF. They better have taken it down for a good reason, and when it comes back it better have Marat's schedule posted.
