Two things
My little warrior won his first hardcourt Grand Slam! It's all bittersweet for a Fedal fan like me, but Rafa fought his heart out not just tonight but for the entire fortnight. He played a total of 10 hours in less than 2 days, on his least favorite surface, with almost everyone betting against him, and he did it.
Special shout-out to me and the girls' "favorite" commentator: STFD, GTFO and DIAF. Please and thank you! To quote a Nike ad I saw once: Your love makes him strong, your hate makes him unstoppable :)
You know how sometimes, when we see a picture of something completely awesome, then we see it in context of a video, we end up being underwhelmed? With this picture, the real thing was even more incredible.
To those who still believe that Rafa is all false humility and Roger is all arrogance: look at this picture, watch a video of the ceremonies and tell me if you can still honestly say that you're right.
