DW geekery at 4 in the morning
I watched a bunch of Old Who episodes this week since we were left with no new DW eps to angst/squee over. I watched Genesis of the Daleks, parts of Frontios (with Five), The Deadly Assassin, and some selected parts from Robot and The Ark in Space. I used to have a hard time getting into the older episodes (must be the slow-paced storytelling) but once I've gotten past all that I really started to enjoy them. I couldn't finish Genesis in one sitting 'coz the story was going everywhere but I really loved learning about Davros and the history of the Daleks. Best of all, lots and lots of Harry and Four being awesome together. I ship Four/Harry more than Sarah/Four/Harry, haha.
Please don't tell me I'm the only one who ships them?
I was shipping Sarah with the Muto.. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.
As for Five's episode with Tegan and Turlough, so far it's not so bad. Like I told
persiflage_1 I don't have the luxury of being able to watch any of the episodes in order since I just watch whatever I can get, so I have no idea how Five gets along with his Companions (so far from what I've seen in Frontios the Doctor was hanging out with the patient and Tegan and Turlough were out getting meds). The more I see of Old Who the more I'm becoming less inclined to get defensive and/or possessive of the Doctor's Companions: they're all awesome in their own ways and I can really understand how he can (and does) love them all.
Tegan loves her short skirts, doesn't she? I don't know what I think of Turlough just yet, but he seems more tolerable than Adric. But so far, I think I love Nyssa more than the other three, she's just so geeky chic, haha. From what I saw of her in Castrovalva anyway. I love love Five, he rocks his brainy specs so deliciously. And his voice, and his wispy blonde hair.. Guh. I really loves me some Five!!! I hope to watch the rest of Frontios and Castrovalva so I can check out some of Three's eps, he looks like fun!

It's 4:30 AM, I'm off to bed. I just wanted to post about DW before I go to sleep, which is so random but I just had to do it. I'll catch up on the Flist when I wake up!
