OMG OMG OMG
EXIT WOUNDS IS, BAR NONE, MY FAVORITE TW EPISODE EVER.
I knew the spoilers for this episode before it aired but actually seeing it unfold before my very eyes just made it more epic.
-- GWEN WAS AWESOME. Seriously, I now understand why she became the one who led Torchwood during Jack's absence. It wasn't shown very effectively before this episode, I think, but when she mobilized the police and the other TW kids I just totally loved her.
-- John Barrowman's dramatic scenes KILLED ME. OMG everytime he would start sobbing I'm right there with him.
-- WHY HELLO THERE GRAY SEXY. The actor who played Gray isn't American, yeah? Coz I could hear his non-American accent come out from time to time.
-- "Bloody impressive."
"She is that, yeah. Lucky sod." PC ANDY/RHYS FTW!!!!
-- TOSH + IANTO vs. Veiled evil goons = kickass pwnage. Guh Tosh why must you be so awesome now?!?!
-- Jack's "I forgive you" vs. The Doctor's "I forgive you." = Jack's seemed more believable for me, and Gray seemed more deserving of his forgiveness than the Master was of the Doctor's. Does that make sense?
-- I need more 1900s TW in my life.
-- Captain John should join Torchwood, please please please!!! But I'll understand if he can't, too much hotness in the Hub might make Janet explode.
-- R.I.P. OWEN AND TOSH.

Omg, that whole scene between Owen and Tosh was done so well.
"Why? Give me one good reason why I should stop screaming?!?"
"Because you're breaking my heart." OMG. I CRIED. SO HARD. UGGHHHH. Burn Gorman and Naoko Mori were BRILLIANT. I don't know if they're planning to return next season but dammit (conflicting spoilers, etc.), they left way too soon. And I LOVED that Owen admitted that he realized too late that Tosh had feelings for him. Ugh. Another ship sunk, and permanently dead, woe.
-- I'm still so weepy, I have to watch the ep again 'coz I couldn't really focus on it now, but I don't know if I can handle another sobfest. Ugh. Even more love for Torchwood now for real!!
Now something somewhat related to this episode:
My two year-old niece (you can never start recruiting too early, methinks) watched the finale with me and my brother, and while the episode was playing I would make her say the name of each member of TW. Eventually I started pointing out the face for each name (she likes Jack the most, it seems) and she'd point and say their names. Anyway, as we were watching, the following conversation ensued:
Bro (to our niece): "Who's the most handsome person in the room?"
Niece (points to my computer where we're watching): "Ianto."
I have trained her well :p
