News and things
Well, the last few days have been a little hectic, but very enjoyable.
Thursday my little brother had his graduation ceremony from Ork Ridge High School. No, that was not a spelling error. That was sorta eh. I got to talk to one of my old teachers, and hang out with a couple other cool people who graduated, but that's about it.
Friday I went to see Voltaire in concert at Blue Cats. That was absolutely awesome. He had several funny stories to tell, and of course he played very amusing music for my enjoyment.
Saturday at Temple was a mix and match type deal. On the plus side, Brad, the manager of the club, grabbed me and told me that he wanted me to work a show on June 29th as security. Granted, it's a hip-hop show, and it's not a regular gig, but it gets my foot in the door with a security job at a club that I enjoy. Unfortunately some shit almost started when a couple new friends of mine were told that they were going to get their asses kicked, and this obviously pissed them off, so I got to play the fun "watching people and making sure no-one needs to get hurt" game. That was about all that really happened that night. I mean, we went to a friend's house afterwards and had some liquor, and Lawwill got incredibly drunk, but that's not really interesting.
Today me, James, and Lawwill went out to look at a house. It's about three minutes from where I currently live, on a road off of West Outer. It looks to be awesome, and hopefully we'll be able to rent it. It's all in the rent applications.
That's about it for my life recently. I desperately need to get some sleep.
