So I decided last January that I would try and find time to read 25 books over the course of the year, 2 a month roughly.
I was doing very well until I got to Oklahoma and then hit a wall when I returned to Chattanooga. However, if all goes as planned, I will actually reach 24 by the end of the year. Thos books are:
Goeffrey Maguire's:
WICKED
SON OF A WITCH
CONFESSIONS OF AN UGLY STEPSISTER
Alice Walker's:
THE COLOR PURPLE
Janet Fitch's:
WHITE OLEANDER
Greg Iles':
BLOOD MEMORY
FOOTPRINTS OF GOD
DEAD SLEEP
SPANDAU PHEONIX
QUIET GAME
BLACK CROSS
William Gibson's:
PATTERN RECOGNITION
Larry Burkett's:
IILUMINATI
Augusten Burrough's:
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
James Rollins':
MAP OF BONES (in less than 48 hours)
ICE HUNT
Carl Hiassen's:
SKINNY DIP
Dan Savage's:
THE COMMITMENT: LOVE, SEX, MARRIAGE AND MY FAMILY
Steve Martin's:
PURE DRIVEL
Chuck Palhuniak's:
SURVIVOR
Leigh Rutledge's:
THE GAY FIRESIDE COMAPNION
Kim Edward's
THE MEMORY KEEPER'S DAUGHTER
Louis Botto's:
PLAYBILL: AT THIS THEATRE
Christopher Priest's:
THE PRESTIGE- a harowing and greatly organized story, leaving as many questions unanswered as posed throughout the book. The last two pages are about as edge-sitting, page-turning, fear-wreaking a story as I think I have ever read
Books in Process:
Steven Fales CONFESSIONS OF A MORMON BOY
????? THE CELESTINE PROPHECY
