[there is only dead, mute silence here, with the occasional static noise. And, if one listens really hard, there is also a small, uncertain choking sound that is heard. Then silence again. Because Nike is unsure--very, very unsure. And confused. And not confused. And also, on the edge of screaming. ...Should she stay here? It's already been a few seconds. How awkward. Besides, she doesn't want to pry. Her sister has her own life, after all. Her own life. And really, Nike hasn't been doing much but nag at said sister ever since she arrived.
