Thursday night
I had planned to watch anime with merxyn tonight but he decided to skip. Not that it would stop me anyway. I finished up Cosmo Warrior Zero which takes place in the Harlock world. Not a bad series. The more I watch the more I become interested in Leji Matsumoto's universe. Last week I finished another series I'll recommend, Vampire Princess Miyu TV. I had some stroung doubts going in to the series, especially the beginning which seemed like a monster of the week story. The story keep getting strong the the end was excellent which I find unusual in anime. Not sure what I'll watch next. Probably some more UY. I'm in the middle of disk 13 or 14 and box set #5 (disks 21-25) was just sent. I'm a little behind.
The rest of the evening I spent working with merxyn's footage from Japan. I've been procrastinating on it, but I finished up the first tape worth of material and ran in to a problem when starting on the second. It seems iDVD only imports chapter marks from the first movie you import. Most users won't be bothered by this but since they edit the film in one iMovie project. There was so much footage I imported each tape into a seperate iMovie project and now it's a little more difficult to join them together. I can either copy all the clips into one project, or create each one seperately and spend each time combining them in one iMovie project. Chapter marks will be a real pain to add though. Since I'm running low on disk space I'll probably go with the first one and test the limits of iMovie. Hopefully only another week until it's done.
Oh, and if anyone has some CDs of traditional Japanese music can I borrow them?
