Star Gazing
Has anyone looked at the night sky the past few nights? Since the crazy heat broke last week the sky has been so clear. Two nights ago I noticed a couple of really bright stars. Last night, around 11 o'clock, I took Penny out for her last bit of night business and noticed a few stars. I had to take pictures of them. These aren't anything amazing, but they really stuck out at me. I then started trying to figure out if I was maybe seeing Mars or something, never figured it out but no big deal.
I had to set my tripod up in the driveway to get this one. At this spot I was looking across the road. The brightest one is the one I thought was a bigger planet.
The house in this picture is next door to us. There was another super bright star THAT looked like this gorgeous pink color that I was trying to get. I never really figured out lighting. I just know where to set the lens in order to get something to come out.
This my house. Looking directly up at the sky was amazing to me. I was nervous that the camera wasn't going to stay on the tripod, so I didn't' take a lot of pictures. There was a plane flying over, but by the time I got the camera situated I didn't really get it in the pictures.
