Who Used Classmates.com?

I just logged into my Classmates account last night. Apparently I last updated my profile there like 12 years ago, lol. Oh how so much has changed, but some things have remained constant and comforting. Here's what I had written.

"Life
I think it's safe to say, that if you knew me in high school, I'm pretty much the same person I was back then. Add 5 or 6 years, and life experience, and you have me today. My life isn't exactly what I thought it would be, but I have to say, right now I'm pretty happy with it. I've learned in the past 6 months, that it's up to me to make myself happy. I'm the only one who can control my future. Sure, other people can influence it, but it's up to me to decide what I want. I can't let what certain people say, determine what I end up doing. Peer pressure doesn't exist solely in highschool. Bull crap happens in the work place too. Gotta remember that you can't let everything people tell you affect you. You can't believe everything that people tell you, especially if it's one person saying it, and the rest of the people in your life (who know you much better) are telling you otherwise.
In 2005, I spent a semester studying in Madrid, Spain at the Universidad de Carlos III. It was a very interesting experience. I stayed with the cutest old couple, that I miss so much. It was so weird returning to the United States and speaking English all day. I'm hoping to go back to Spain one day, be it vacation or with school.
In January 2006, I graduated from Marist College with my Bachelors of Arts in Spanish, and am certified to teach Spanish grades 7- 12 in New York State. I'm looking for a job as a teacher in the area. ::Crossing my fingers :) ::
Right now, I'm working for M&T bank as a bilingual teller. I go from branch to branch in the areas between New Paltz and Beacon. It's not my dream job, but pays the bills for now, and have made some good friends as a result :)
IF you remember Frank, we're still together. Not married yet. No kids. But we're happy with the point we're at... for now. It's definetly all going to change in the future though!!"
