Hola, 2007
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came down for New Year's...sorry that as a hostess I got drunk but dang I had a smashing good time!! Thanks for the cleaning that happened before/after we had to take off, hopefully no one hurried out the door on our account. Oh, and thanks for all the stuff you left (we were hoping for the Wii, but good enough ;)). If anyone actually wants this stuff, let me know...I think Steph left a pint of Captain and 60 flavors of jelly beans and the penguin that poops. Katherine left the beer, but I know she didn't want that. Oh, and there were 3 Corona's on the deck, which were probably also Steph's. But anyway, it was a rockin' good time and I'm glad everyone came down!!
On another note, I had a great time today out gift card shopping at VS, Target, and Barnes and Nobles. I spent a little money to add on to the cards but got a ton of stuff for very little! Yay!
Also, ever since I picked up Angels and Demons after Xmas I haven't been able to put it down! I just wanted to share my enthusiasm for the book with someone besides Beau, who is probably pretty tired of it! It's really cool because it takes place a lot in Vatican City and Rome, so it is very easy to envision and I know about the places the characters go. Also, since Dan Brown is so meticulous the city maps and happenings are accurate, which just makes my psyche so happy!
School doesn't start up until Monday, so that's cool too. I'm definately enjoying my break. I've got 2 more goals to achieve before the week is up, and 2 more days home alone, so we'll see how that works out. I think it will be good to go back to work to, because there's only 2 weeks left before the new semester starts, including time for exams. Due to some other circumstances, my reviews and exams are writen, so I have very little work to actually do, and then my schedule completely changes and becomes lovely easy!! I think it will be good. Hopefully 2007 continues to be good to me!
