Most probably I'll be leaving for London in June 09. Excited? Nervous? Sad? ...i can say, all squeeze into one. But I just cant wait to go there and make my mom proud. Working in Envy certainly has been one of the walls that have stopped me from focusing to the one thing i love, designing dreams. But I think , this has needs to stop. I need to at least do another 5 good pieces and let them be my starting point in my ever long journey. Yes, I have not yet build any name in fashion industry here (Malaysia) but hey, it's okay cos that is not in my plan for now. Start low. Know the industry. Keep my eyes and ears open. And that explains why i chose to do my internship and work in a magazine comp rather than a fashion house. Stitching sequins is mostly what u do in a fashion house as intern. But here in Envy I've learned a lot!!! Trust me, from admin (how business works to handling paper works to knowing the people and politic in this industry) ... to production to styling to even know when to put your guard up or put your guard down. I've build quite a thick skin ( what u need to survive in this industry ) and most importantly I've met a few good people ... I've made new great friends..oya, ishaq, mira, ejoy. With them I can freely put my guard down. Most importantly I can just be me. They dont judge. And i hope it stays that way. Okay, back to London. Why i'm going three months earlier is because mom said I need to learn how to adapt in order to live there alone. And definately without a doubt i'll be homesick so it is better to get pass that stage before class starts right? So yeah, that's why. Planned to take a flight together with Mal but plan changed so I'll be going there alone...UNLESS his parents let him go in June. Sad but whichever I'm fine with it. Talked to naya yesterday, and surprisingly she's going to the London College of Fashion as well!!!!!!! Naya is one of my bffs, we knew it each other during our study in itm, we were roomates.. And it seems like we are going to be housemates in London too! That's the plan for now! Yeay!!! Excited nyer!!! Now I can't wait for London..! *orgasm*
