july 7: santa cruz, sunburn, swam through a cave and mari discovered churros, lots of skeeball
july 8: muir woods, red woods, a truly stunning place
july 9: san francisco... we walked all day from king street to godiva sq; couldnt find anyplace to stay so we booked back to catch the last train to los altos
july 10 to 12 i just cant seem to remember
july 13 spent all day with mari in the er
14 drove to la, stayed at the "pacific sands" right by the santa monica pier on first & ocean across from palisaides park
swimming by the old muscle beach
15 morning in santa monica, spent the rest of the day in the lacma and saw the king tut exhibit
16 labrea tarpits in the morning, beach 3rd street promenade
17 venice on a weekend, left for nocal, stopped to eyeball the elephant seals. always a pleasure
18 back to san francisco, ate at fishermans warf mari had dungeness crab... went to the metrion
19 took the boys to the airport, got wicked lost... slept all day ate fish and saw a movie
