Strange week
It's been a strange week.....had issues getting my apartment, but everything has been resolved.
Last night, I went out drinking with my friend Chris. I just felt that I needed to unwind. It was great. Then I got home and got online....
I chatted online with my friend Lisa. She called me out on liking a mutual friend of ours. She told me I should make it happen....I've been thinking about it. Kinda like that song "The Promise" by When in Rome. I've been listening to that song a lot lately.....
The universe has a strange way of making things happen....I've been thinking a lot about this girl. Today I got my new apartment and started moving things in. Some random boy rode up on a bike, he probably lives in the complex. He was probably around 7 or 8, and he started asking me questions.....
"Do you have any kids?"
"No"
"Do you have a wife?"
"No"
"Do you have a girlfriend"
(yes, I was trying to unload boxes from my car, which I continued doing during this conversation)
"No"
"You should get a girlfriend"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, just find a girl that you like, and ask her to be your girlfriend"
It was strange.....I wish I knew how to date. I wish I could just ask a girl to be my girlfriend, and that was that.....I don't know what to do. I hope I figure it out.
