So Yesterday
so, yesterday...
so yesterday... sorry, got distracted by the song... who sings that? hilary duff? probably... erin makes me listen to her cd a lot... aaaaaanyway...
yesterday was a pretty sweet day. i had virtually no plans, yet felt very busy. it was nice. here went my day:
-woke at 11:30.
-picked cynthia up for lunch at 1ish.
-went to don pablos. havent been there in ages, and had a quite funny experience with the "intense" waiter. apparently he decided he knew what we wanted more than we did and changed our orders. *shrug* tasted good.
-took cynthia home and decided i didnt feel like going home to an empty house, so i went to sheetz. got a slushie and was excited to see that my sheetz friend was back. havent seen him in ages, and apparently he missed me as well, because he made a point of telling me so. :) (i believe he's in high school unfortunately... cause he seems to be one of a small group of males that have interest in me)
-drove down to polnars to pay a visit. no one was home except bagel, so i used my key to get in and hang out with bagel and chill. we had good quality time. macgyver would be jealous.
-drove to old navy and bought a pair of green capris. very cute!
-drove to woodland hills high school to find the rest of the polnar family and see stacey and the twins do some track meet stuff. *got lost on the way there because i didnt realize that greensburg pike and graham blvd are the same street :-p thanks erin.
-got a call from al saying that macgyver ran away again. guess he got off his chain, AGAIN. freaked out and rushed home from the meet. she had found him by the time i arrived. he's an amazing escape artist. i would be impressed and proud if it weren't for my overwhelming worry of his imminent death by car.
-got dressed to go to team trivia at grazie. erin, batty and keith showed up at 6ish and we headed over. it was a fantastic time, and BRENT showed up around 8:30 in time for the last few questions. geez i miss him!!! *on a side note, we talked on the phone for almost 2 hours the other night! i miss that...
-and for the highlight of the day... WE WON!!! we actually got first place at trivia! woot woot! we got 56 points and had our whole meal paid for! it was great, cause our waitress came over after we won to see if we wanted some free dessert!
:-D man do i love trivia night! ya'll are missin out!!!!!
-then i went to giant eagle to rent a movie and get bananas. i rented "little manhattan" its sposed to be a story of first love. its about two little kids. hehe, ill let you know how it is!!!
-lastly i watched my tape of american idol before bed, and was sad to say goodbye to ace. it was sad, but i figured it was his time, and i was just relieved it wasnt chris... my favorite. if chris doesnt win ill be bummed... and if katharine mcphee does, ill be bummeder... grr.
guess thats about it for yesterday... didnt i have a nice day?!?!? mmmmmm...
tonight is survivor, which should be good since someone supposedly gets life-flighted out and leaves the show. as long as it isnt terry its all good! then tomorrow morning i babysit then pack for my minivacay! wootwoot!
me and erin are driving down to virginia for a few days. it sucks with gas prices so high, but her car gets really good gas mileage(or milage?) and we need the break from home. we're gonna visit courtney, brent and my cousin steven, then we'll be back tuesday, so we can grazie wednesday! yayfun!
alright, i gotta go do some planning for relay for life. my high school sunday school class needed a lesson on making a difference, so we're gonna take this on as a class. its june 17-18 at woodland hills high school, if anyone is interested in WALKING for a while, or donating money, or buying a luminaria in memory or honor of a loved one with cancer, please let me know! :)
