It's been a few weeks since my last update and the simple reason is that I have barely had a moments rest. Being in the final year of a PhD is stressful enough not to mention being in a band that is growing daily in strength and attention.

Over the last few weeks we finally recorded two more demo tracks and a professional live set. G.I (Generation Innocence) and Race have received great feed back and finally elevated the attention the band is getting. Over the next few weeks we will have them with all the major radio stations in Ireland the UK and further afield due to the demand.

On top of this we have been gigging away. The Duke of York gig was enjoyable, rather like slatterys in rathmines. Belfest was a very irrate gig for me. I found it strange that the two main bands who had a pile of industry heads over to see them (us and 'The Rivals') were not allowed to soundcheck and everyone else was. Although we played tightly we were completely let down by the sound and technical difficulties from the sound crew...dodgy fuckin leads!! Yesterday we played the Island Arts Centre, great venue, great crew sadly not the easiest place to draw a crowd but we played a blinder.

Aside from this we are gonna launch a new web-site within the week with Julianne from 'Coda' chief designer.

Meetings, meetings meetings...thats all we seem to do in our spare time at the minute, don't get me wrong it's all very exciting talk but we have so many decisions to contemplate and make that the next few months should be fun.

It's been a tough few weeks, my P.C in college died and as soon as it was fixed my Lap-top died and I lost an important paper I was working on, it was the only thing I hadn't saved elsewhere, my gibson head packed it in on Saturday night, my SG is broke, my guitar bug is missing a connection, the roof in my house leaks and I barely sit still for 5 mins as my phone never bloody stops.

In 12 days we fly to London with our entourage of mates for some gigs and important meetings and then back at the start of January for more of the same.

Stephen is now in the process of moving to Belfast as we realise we need to be closer to each other to develop the writing process, backing vocals and team spirit within the band.

I also now have a myspace page at www.myspace.com/arockpoet and Stephen's is www.myspace.com/agothicpoet
