It's been such a mad week or so for us poets. Day and night is rolling into one as we become increasingly busy.
After the highs of the Empire show in Belfast we set forth to Pravda in Dublin and what a strange venue it was. All I can compare it to is playing a restaurant, with barely enough room on stage to swing a cat the venue really should stick to acoustic acts, plus with such a high ceiling it would help to mic things up a bit. But all said the staff are great the engineer and compare friendly and I would definately venture back for a pint. Not our greatest show with so many technical probs but the crowd seemed to enjoy it.
So we are back to rehearsals and new songs and set line up will be upon the public soon. During the week we parted company with Vanessa and MMI regarding our management. All ended amicably and we'll still be in touch on as our careers evolve hopefully to the benefit of all.
We have been confirmed to play Trinity Union Dublin on the 3rd of November, Fibbers Dublin on the 28th Oct, possibly the Duke of York Belfast on the 22nd of Oct and new dates for the Empire will be announced next week.
Also a new date for Cork will be announced shortly. We will be coming to Glasgow and Edinburgh February, as well as London. There may also now be London shows in early December. The band has also been placed on the Best of Northern Ireland CD to be released by NIMIC to industry heads next month.
At the moment we are pretty mad behind the scenes and getting ready to record and release new material.
