Does any Elfquest fans out there have the original series #15, or the Starblaze/Donning Book3? I'm wondering if Kureel had his FOAD spiel to the Wolfriders was changed. The panel is when the Gliders fly off from the troll ambush ( Read more... )

I have the Starblaze deluxe editions and sure enough, Kureel's line there is as you quote it.

I understand the impulse to go back and tweak what you think is weak work. What I don't understand is giving into it, especially when it comes to dialogue. The original is a perfect example of how cold Kureel is, and that Winnowill wasn't exaggerating when she said others of the Gliders hated the Wolfriders as Kureel did.
