Taecyeon pouts as he watches Junsu snuggle against Wooyoung. He has been noticing it a lot lately that Junsu has been ignoring him and his attention is on the younger boy. He narrows his eyes as the oldest boy looks up at Wooyoung with big eyes and a smile on his lips. They're talking about something but Taecyeon is too filled with jealousy to even comprehend what it is. Probably something about how Junsu wants to join Wooyoung later in bed so that he can cuddle against something warm. That warm object of his affection should be Taecyeon. Junsu should be leaning against Taecyeon on the couch while looking at him lovingly. Junsu should be talking to him about how their bed arrangements are going to work. Junsu should...
“Taecyeon,” Wooyoung says, breaking him out of his angry thoughts.
“What is it?” he hisses, taking his frustrations out on the boy who doesn't deserve it.
“We were wondering if you want to go out to eat?”
Taecyeon's eye twitches at the thought of seeing Junsu feeding Wooyoung, or vice versa. He cringes in disgust, no longer hungry because he had been. “No, I'm going to bed.” He stomps out of the room, missing the worried glance Junsu gives him.
He slams the door to his bedroom and falls onto his bed. Taecyeon's too angry to sleep now and it only makes him angrier as he hears the front close. He bites his lip now thinking he should've gone with them to make sure that Junsu doesn't do anything weird to the younger boy. With all the attention the oldest is giving to Wooyoung, they might end up walking into a bathroom stall or empty alleyway to fuck..
Taecyeon slams his fists against the bed, “Junsu isn't like that.” He rubs his face as he feels disappointed in himself. Junsu is not a desperate whore looking to get some action. He likes to cuddle and show affection whenever they're alone so Taecyeon can't imagine the older boy chasing Wooyoung for sex. Not to mention, Wooyoung giving in to those desires. Surely the younger boy would have some sort of control.
“No,” he says, mind reverting back to reality. Junsu isn't like that but it doesn't stop Taecyeon from thinking it. He sighs in frustration as he closes his eyes. Fact or fiction, he's beat from thinking the worst. The truth is he misses Junsu. He misses coming home from performances or fanmeets to crawl into Junsu's arms and fall asleep. He misses stealing unexpected kisses which results in the older boy smacking him from embarrassment. Taecyeon misses the way Junsu moans unintentionally when he grabs his butt.
Taecyeon catches himself smirking and stops himself. Even though he's still angry, he can't help but remember the good times. He groans and rolls onto his stomach, 'Good times... It's not we've broken up... Then again, it's not like we're dating either.' Taecyeon feels his heart ache for a split second. He grips his pillow as he finds it hard to breathe.
He jumps when he feels the bed dip, “Taecyeon, are you alright?”
He ignores Junsu because he doesn't know what to say, how to reply. Physically he's okay but emotionally, he feels torn to pieces. He feels stupid when he realizes it's only because Junsu is cuddling with someone else and that's all he's doing. It's not like Junsu is kissing someone else or trying to make him jealous. Junsu is just being affectionate.
“Yah,” Junsu is shaking him gently.
“I'm fine!” Taecyeon turns his body so he can look at the older boy.
“You're obviously not, I know something's wrong.”
“Then why would you ask?” he mutters.
“Tell me what's wrong Taeccie.”
Taecyeon cringes at the call of his pet name, knowing that it might get him to spill his guts. He grits his teeth when Junsu rubs his back gently. “Why are you getting so close to Wooyoung?” He can't word it carefully to avoid his obvious jealousy, Junsu would see it anyways. He hears the older boy sigh and he gets frustrated, he just wants an answer. Taecyeon doesn't care if the older boy finds his thoughts ridiculous.
“I don't know,” Junsu answers honestly. He doesn't even realize that he's doing it, “Does it bother you?” The lack of reply gives Junsu the answer. His lips tightened as he tries not to grin. He's unconsciously making Taecyeon jealous and it gives him a bit of pride knowing that he has that effect. Junsu drops his smile as he leans over the tall boy, pressing his cheek against Taecyeon's shoulder, “If something's bothering you, you have to tell me. I can't always figure out what it is. It doesn't matter if you think it's ridiculous or you're overreacting, I want to know. Okay?” he whispers the last word into the younger boy's ear.
Taecyeon feels all the weight lift off his heart as the older talks. He knows that this is another reason why he loves Junsu. He slowly turns and his eyes lock with Junsu's. They stare at one another for a moment before Taecyeon leans up to press his lips against the older boy's.
Junsu lets the tall boy kiss him but stops him before Taecyeon tries to slide his tongue between his lips. The tall boy is looking at him with a deep betrayal in his eyes and Junsu smiles, “Taecyeon, you have yet to ask me something.”
The younger boy looks at Junsu with confusion. When he realizes that Taecyeon is totally lost, Junsu feels hurt and slides himself under the blankets. Whether he's mad at Taecyeon or not, he's not moving from the bed, it's too warm and inviting to leave now. He feels shuffling next to him before the younger boy stops moving. The blankets settle and it's ear-piercingly silent in the room.
Junsu closes his eyes, trying to ignore the nagging pain in his heart. He ignores Taecyeon as he calls out his name softly. He doesn't even move when the tall boy hugs him from behind, squeezing him tightly around his waist. “Su-yah,” Junsu flinches at his name, “Will you go out with me?”
He doesn't waste a second as he turns around in Taecyeon's arms and presses their lips together. He feels trapped in the younger boy's embrace but he doesn't care, Taecyeon could squeeze the life out of him and he wouldn't care at that moment. Junsu feels the younger boy take control as he rolls on top of him and he decides that maybe for the first time in their relationship, he'll let Taecyeon get away with his inhibitions.
