I loved reading this. Ajay has always been a bit of a blank template to me, it's very nice to see him being fleshed out. A lot of the things you write resonate very well with him :)

Ajay is a total blank template. Even his description makes him sound boring. He likes counting grains of sand? Come on.

He started as a plot device, really, then the rest of the character worked it's way in from there. I'm glad you like him.

He's definitely a goofball. I think Strangetown is going to be good for him, if only for knowing what it's like to not be the weirdest person in the room.

I've never really known what to do with Ajay whenever I've played him. He wants to be a successful businessman but I've not many other details. This is giving me ideas, though :}

I'm glad this is giving you ideas. I've always gone the businessman route too, but it seems like he needs a something to spice it up. I mean, if he were just a clean cut capitalist, why move to Strangetown?

Now that I'm thinking of it that way, I can easily picture him as a Maurice Minifield from Northern Exposure type character.

I like the whole "I'm weird, so if I scrutinize the ones who are weirder than I am, that will make me feel better about myself" kinda attitude he has. Hehe.

On 10, would it make you feel better if I said that the dared girl was not too displeased, though she was terribly embarrassed?
