So, it's been a while since I've posted in this. I've decided to make my entries public again, because I just don't care who reads this anymore.
My boyfriend and I split up in February. I'm over it. There's a new boy who I've known for a while. Sweetest boy I have ever met, treats me amazingly.
I'm trying to find a new place to live. Maybe with my two friends, Brandon and Aaron Cooley. We'll see.
I'm going to LA in two weeks from today. July 1-12. Could I be more excited? No. This is the first time Ashley Rockett will be to the west coast. And to LA, of all places! I wonder if I'll see any famous people.
Speaking of famous people, May 16th, my friend Kali and I drove to Cleveland, Ohio to see the Honda Civic Tour (again. We saw it ten days earlier, too). She had one mission: to make out with Alex Greenwald (lead singer). Well, the first time we saw them, we hung out with them after the show - he played an acoustic set for a bunch of us by their buses. Fast forward to the 16th. Kali and I are excited that we get to drink at this venue, as well as it's an outside show. We decided that we love Cleveland, because all the guys love us there. I mean, we got hit on by a bunch of old creeps (Who are yas? I gotta know!) and I had a 15 year old tell me I was cute, but we also got hit on by a few kids our own age, and got handed backstage passes to the after party. Thanks, Andy Freeman, by the way. So we spend $48 on six beers (three each, at $8 a beer. Ridiculous.), and we've got a good buzz. We talk to the band at their merch table and after the show, Alex says since he ditched us last time, he will defiantly hang out with us after he and Sam play another acoustic set. Andy, the guy who gave us the passes, is the sound guy for Motion City Soundtrack and Panic At The Disco. He meets us outside, as to we told him we were going to be there, watching Alex play and sing. While we're waiting for Alex to finish signing stuff, Andy mentions how everyone always ditches the sound guys for the band guys. Well, can you blame them? Cue Alex and Sam, who walk over and ask if we wanna go somewhere or just hang out their bus. They decide we'll chill on their bus, and we ditch Andy. In our defense, he knew we were going to hang out with Alex and crew, so we weren't really ditching him. The rest of the night involved singing together, lots of PBR, ridiculous antics, Kali finally making out with Alex, and Alex walking us to our car at 5:30 am. We were invited to see them play the next night in Cincinnati, and we'd be put on the guest list, but as much as I wanted to, we decided it wasn't a good idea, as to we both had plans. Oh yeah, The Hush Sound was also on the bus, and we also hung out with them.
I have to go to work now, I hope I'm not late.
