I'm extremely sad to report that Olivia was involved in a hit-and-run accident around ten o'clock last night. She was already dead when I arrived on the scene. She was taken to a nearby emergency animal clinic, where she will be cremated and buried in a group plot. Riley and I cried all night long and the mourning continues on. Please take a moment of silence to pay your respects and look back on her life. She was my very dear friend and companion for the past six years, and will be greatly missed by everyone in our family.
