Halp!

I've been using Josh's computer, and it has a lot a lot of bugs and things on it. But recently it seems to have gotten worse: I turn the computer on, it starts up, lets me log in. I've been trying to get AdAware and/or SpyBot started up, but before either program gets very far, it goes to a blue screen that basically says: There's a problem and the computers being shut down to prevent damage. (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) If this is the first time, uninstall recently installed hardware. Or perform updates. (I haven't installed anything new, to my knowledge.) If problems continue, start up in safe mode, disable BIOS memory options such as caching and shadowing, restart. Technical Info: ***STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000051, 0x00000001, 0x8A18E5D5). Performed dump of physical memory. Computer is a Windows XP Professional.

I don't know how to do the BIOS thing, or what it'd even be doing. And I don't know what else to do, so if anyone who reads or stumbles across my LJ knows their computer stuff, please help. :}

I'm on my dad's laptop until it's taken care of unless he takes it back before then.
