Mike and I rolled back into town around 1pm this afternoon, and I'm home listening to my new Iron & Wine record.. it's fucking good. Perfect music for my mood, which is not altogether bad but definitely low-energy. My feet are killing me. I had such an excellent time in NYC, despite my injuries, and yet I'm really glad to be home right now..
I think I'll try to write a song today, spend some quality time with the recliner, finish off this pack of cigarettes and maybe indulge in some Johnny Walker Black. Awesome.
