Hello!

It's strange, being welcomed without an entry, thank you B. I hope I can access the computer often enough to jot down the occasional thought.

It's been a strange weekend. Jord turned 11, quite casually, raking in a Sony playstation and 125$ in cash among other things.

My stint at becoming a retired bassplayer became threatend by a wickedly enjoyable wedding. It's funny, I actually played better than I have in a long time, the hope of "I guess its like riding a bike" finally came true.

I think I picked the bass up for a two nighter in July, but hadn't touched it since may, the only damage seems to be unbeliveably tender right index and middle fingers.

It was nice, V stuck around till midnite, then snuck off to our warm bed, leaving me to a ride home with the sound guy and an open bar. Its been a while since I got a good dose of "hangin with the guys", cheap "u-brew" wine gives you the most terrible dryness in the morning. I would not call it a hangover, more like, gravitationally challenged.

On the World front, the propaganda war goes on. There, I mentioned it.

oh yeah, I forgot to mention, as a sort of blanket disclaimer: I am terribly dyslexic, so please exuse my run on sentences, Its hard enough to get a thought down in 15 mins. That is a long time to think about something, and it reads quite dense a times... well what ever.

Looking back, Oh yeah, the strange weekend, well inlaws, a birthday, my brothers (of whom the band consists) hangovers, a weather change, Jordan's jealous younger brother, sleep deprivation, and a massive fog bank looming all day a half a mile offshore, big enough for the kids to say, in hushed voices "The Ring" (we are reading the lord of the rings).

Maybe this sense of everything being surreal is just the inlaws and the hangover.

thanks for reading.
