(no subject)
Greetings friends! I am still in San Fran, sitting on the 17th floor of the Credit Suisse office, using a computer ! the reason is that I stayed last night with family friends who live over the Bay Bridge and who get to work at 5 am. so instead of dealing with public transportation I woke up at 4:30-I'm used to it by now- and got a ride in with them. I wrote a ton of postcards-finally finished them actaully-while waiting until a decent hour so I can go meet fellow Bike & Builders that are still in town, which I plan on doing in a few minutes. I'm flying out tonight around 8:30, with a stopover in Las Vegas. I can't believe I'm going to be sleeping in my new bed in NY tomorrow. crazy. I slept in my sleeping bag on a bed last night just because it feels more normal to me. I should get in around 8 tomorrow morning, after which I have to buy some food for my new kitchen and pack up to head to the city. I can't believe I'm in SF; I guess it's different when you fly to a place-although you'd think I would, since I got here by teh power of my own legs. Id on't know, maybe when I fly the distance in only 6 hours I'll realize just how far I rode. crazy! see you nyu folks soon, and hopefully bwater kids!
