Yesterday I worked from 8:30 to 11, then headed to the lab-I finally started the research project. I was there until around 5, when I headed to Rubin, microwaved some pasta, and watched tv. I had to head back to the lab to finish the protocol we were working on because we had to wait for it to incubate. That was around 7. I got out around 7:45 and headed back to my nice quiet room to watch some more tv. Then, at 8:30 Robyn and I headed to Palladium to work out. I ran on the treadmill for like 20 minutes then hopped in the pool for about 40. That felt damn good. After palladium we headed to the atm so I could get some cash and then to wendy's on 14th street. I took a nice warm shower and ended up going to bed at 3:30 because I was actually motivated to do some work and then had to pack some stuff up. I caught the path from 9th street at 9:15 and got to somerville around 11, where Amy Q. picked me up! We stopped at dunkin' donuts and then headed to the high school to visit. It went really well. We pretty much went in order of the buildings. First I said hi to Mr. La who gave me a ton of awesome sheet music, then to the 400 to see Mr. Evans and Foley. Evans asked us if we wanted to sit in on his class-lol- and Foley was too involved in his chess game to much acknowledge us. I wanted to say hi to Ms. O'Keefe but she was out today so we found Cimpko in the 1000 building and talked to her for about 15 minutes, mostly about senioritis and Mrs. Ritter and her new baby, like ho Cimpko calls Ritter around the time that general hospital is on because the baby is sleeping. lol. The period was almost over so we stopped by Mr. Sagar's room so Amy could say hi and so I could ask him to say hi to his wife.lol. I skipped the 600 building because I didn't want to run into Neumann-she talks forever. So I stopped in yonezuka's ap french class. It was actually really nice talking to her. She asked me once again what I got on the AP test and then realized once again that I didn't take it. Then, as usual insisted that I would have gotten a 5, then awkwardness. lol. Most of the conversation was in french, so that made it a bit more awkward. Then I headed to the 800 to say hi to Mrs. Gable, Mr. Koenig, and Mrs. Herbes. I love the science department. It was really nice catching up with Gable. She said she was in the nyu area recently and was thinking we should get together, so I told her to email/call me. That'd be cool. I said that I expected it would probably be a weekend and she responded by saying that she goes during the week sometimes and that it'a a little rough going to school the next day. lol. good times. I hadn't actually talked to Herbes in awhile, other than about bio and grades, and the goodbye at the end of the year, so that was weird but I'm glad I did. She asked the usual, how school was going and what courses I'm taking and she also said that I looked really happy. This made me even happier because it's so true. I really am a much happier person, considering I was miserable throughout high school. It's nice that people notice that and also that I can hold a normal pleasant conversation.

Wow, that was only two days. emily came to visit, but you can read about that in Robyn's journal. haha. I'm heading back to the city on friday-I think. I don't want to stay any longer but Kim is coming in and Amy's going back Saturday. I don't know. Tomorrow I have to head to the neurologist, fill out W-2 forms, and fundraise and I'm going to meet up with Angela and Amy later in the day. We'll probably head to the mall since there is nothing to do here.
