Trimming down.
As many of you know, and some of you might not, I've been simplifying my existence this year. Or trying to, anyway.
I followed my tradition of making previous years of entries private, up to 1/1/2008. I put almost 1,000 entries to private status earlier today. I removed some of your art journals, if I already view your deviantart pages. I removed communities that I no longer frequent. I removed the journals of people who haven't posted in months, or even years.
I used to keep up with over 150 journals, but learned that there are many people who would use my heartfelt entries for their amusement, or to stir the pot when they get bored. Every year, my list gets smaller and smaller. If this LJ wasn't so damned theraputic, I would have quit it years ago.
Anyway, if your art journals, or journals of people you know were cut, please don't take it personally. I'm trying to limit this to people who I actually have come to know personally (or damned near to it). If I wouldn't call you on the phone and tell you these things, it's probably safe to say that we aren't more than internet acquaintances.
