We had a high school class re-reunion today. I'm calling it a re-reunion because that same class ate out at World Chicken (great food. yum!) the other day. Earlier today, we met up at around 1:30pm. We walked around, watched Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest, and ate at Burgoo.
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest My Rating: 9/10
The movie what amazing. The action and the story flow literally kept me on the edge of my seat. I liked the movie's prequel, so I did expect to be entertained as much here.
I love how Johnny Depp portrays Captain Jack Sparrow's character. It's perfect. Jack Sparrow's so fun to the point that I want to buy the video game, Pirates of the Carribean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow, even though the internet ratings are not as good as the character. I'm just curious of the how Jack Sparrow turned out the way he is; the video game shows how and why Jack Sparrow became the Capt. Jack Sparrow.
Simply put, most of the movie exceeded my expectations. I said most because I personally didn't like the ending much. The ending was cool, but I think it was cut too short. I can't even call it an ending. My friend told me all movies have an ending, it's just that some don't have a closure. I guess this is one of those movies which doesn't have a closure.
