And he was reminded of Michael K at the rehabilitation camp: a walking stick of a man, hiding under a leaf, nibbling at the corner, and drinking dew or whatever walking sticks feed on. His head hurt still, was throbbing in fact. Pure pulses of blood and weakness that would precede he was sure his death.

yeah, i actually applied for a grant on this a few years back but it was sort of half-assed, and ive given it enormous thought since. i'll write something up over the weekend.... i don't really have a budget for this though. how time-consuming is it?

i'm guessing i can get a draft pumped out in an hour or two. then edit several times, probably with a day or two between a couple of them, so all together maybe 2-3 days? like, 5 hours? that's just the straight proposal though. the other stuff (cover letter, any research etc.) would take more time. i wouldn't ask for more than more than $50 though. especially if you let me be involved later. :oP but maybe if it goes through a little more!!!
