OMG I have been watching Dexter too! I got so excited and flaily when he walked onto the screen with his oral fixation and his "Best first date ever" with Deb and then the crushing realisation hit home as I remembered what happens to most guest characters on this show. First Isaac, then Lancelot... I do not approve of this trend.
Aw, poor kitty. My dog would probably do the same.
Ugh, ugh, ugh, now I just know we're going to see Gwen try to murder Arthur in his sleep. As long as Merlin is inexplicably right there to save him, I won't mind TOO much. And I have a feeling those cloaks they were at night are magical. Like the cloak of invisbility except that instead of making the wearer invisible, they temporarily teleport anyone around them to another dimension.
Mordred popped up in the background at the funeral so at least we know he was still around. I dunno. Maybe Arthur wore him out with all the hugging last week and he needed a rest. Since we're down one knight now, he'll probably slot right into the A team for the rest of the series.
And yeah, I love that Morgana switched things up a bit at last. It was about time after so many years of trying the same thing over and over again. It was a bit of a surprise to me, actually, and that gives me a tiny bit of hope that things might still be salvageable after all. And if all else fails, Teen Wolf will make it better!
Oh man, I'll bet you're right - they killed off Elyan so they could promote Mordred (because they can't afford all those actors at the same time). And yeah, it WILL be interesting to see how Merlin ends up in the bedroom with Arty and Gwen when she tries to stab him in his sleep (I just know it's gonna happen).
And...Santiago's gone already. He needs a job where we get to see him for more than a few episodes. Dexter's pretty wild this season. It's almost like Dex is a different character. He really isn't, it's just that now he's saying what he's thinking to Deb instead of keeping it to himself. And when he says it out loud, all of a sudden the morality of the whole thing really comes into question (for the first time I'm finding Dexter a little creepy). Clearly this is the setup for next season being the last, because I don't see how Deb can go on with any of this too much longer. Great acting on Jennifer's part, though (how hard must it be to fall in love with a guy, marry him, go through the whole cancer treatment deal, divorce him, and then still have to play opposite him on a tv show with an incest slant?)
