+ Ross Noble (who has had entertaining appearances on Good News Week and Rove of late) will have a three hour ANZAC day radio special this Friday on Triple J. It should be awesome and full of hilarity. Tune in.

AND, if you tune into to the live streaming, you get Noble uncut, and get to listen in on what happens while the music plays. Ross and the Js are my radio OTP, as people may know by now, so I'm quite excited about this. We're also getting some travel specials every Sunday morning starting on the 27th. *makes note to set the alarm* heh.

+ Still on Triple J, I'm currently listening to Sunday Night Safran and now have a new ear for Father Bob which is distinctly Kieron-influenced. Every time one of those mean McDeaners spouts on about Kieron not being a proper priest because of certain character traits (gay sex not withstanding, of course), I'd like to tell them about our real life cool priest.

+ So You Think You Can Dance Australia. Rhys FTW! Or possibly Jack! I CAN'T DECIDE. It was quite awesome that dearstranger1 and I got our dream dance pairing at last (Rhys/Jack), even if it wasn't as coupley as I would have preferred. They still looked really hot together.

+ First Big Brother housemate to be announced: ahahahahaha! I can see myself HATING her a lot, but enjoying every minute of that hate. Racist Bigot Granny (which they seem to have shortened to 'Terri') should be good value. Of course, I just realised that for most of BB this year, I'll be house/dog-sitting at the place with no broadband, which means I'll miss the late-night live streaming marathons. This is embarrassingly depressing.

+ Rodger Corser is presenting at the Logies this year. So is Gyton Grantley, so I'm assuming they'll be together and have to crack some lame joke about Rodger being the cop responsible for bringing Gyton down or something. But! I bet he'll lot hot in a suit. I think this is going to be a Hemmo-less Logies, so we'll have to take what we can get. My Logies wish is Geoff & Aden (or, Lincoln and Todd, I guess) arrive together with Indiana as a beard like Hemmo, Jase and Issy did that year. Good times.

+ I think I have to *gasp* cut down on the obsessive JP/Kieron watching because I'm having really vivid dreams and it's freaking me out. Sometimes Kieron just walks past a room I'm in, and stops in the doorway and stares, giving me a horrible disappointed look and when I ask what I did, he walks away and then I wake up. It's really HORRIBLE and sounds so trivial and hilarious when I type it out but, seriously, at 3am? It's upsetting. I think it's Catholic guilt which must *still* reside in the subconscious somewhere.

Also, I have dreams where Kieron dies but for some reason, they don't upset me as much. Especially this really bizarre sci-fi one where JP and Kieron (and I think me, on and off) survive this plague which killed most of the population. And as the survivors have gathered and are sorting out what to do next, Kieron grabs JP and says he's dying and it turns out he has the plague and it was delayed for some reason and he starts bleeding from the mouth and eyes and JP kisses him and then he's dead. Maybe I shouldn't spend so much of my waking moments trying to deny those spoilers of which we dare not speak.

Anyway, today I focused on old JP/Craig episodes because I needed to find some Craig wrongness for an idea I'm toying with. And I have renewed sympathy and understanding of JP's actions towards Kieron up to this point - the poor boy was victim of an emotional vampire who left little more than an empty shell behind as it boarded that plane. And as much as I love Kieron dearly, he *is* expecting a lot, emotionally, from JP too soon. They need to talk about that. They need to talk about CRAIG (god help us). And then, thinking about how damaged JP is, I think about Kieron and how he seems so keen to have "mates" and tries to be "normal" and how he needs reassurance about his vocation and his lifestyle and JP, and I would LOVE to get into his backstory. There's something really big in there, I just know it. It's a real shame we might never get that chance.
