last night's tv
Tripping Over. See, now I *know* I love Ned. What's up with that? I think it may have something to do with me projecting the Hemsworth in Ned's place next year, but also Daniel MacPherson is cute and fully aware that he's taking the piss out of himself and the coma scene *cracked me up*, as did his resulting downward spiral. Going to Nic for comfort was adorable, and I loved his bitchiness towards Flick and...man, I'm done for. I'm *fangirling*. Kill me now.
Oh, and for the first time, I've found Callum adorable and interesting. Right about the time of the platypus speech, I think. And then he kissed Charlie and I awww'd. And then Charlie kissed him back and I squeed. And then Callum and Charlie were up against the wall, and Callum's hand was sliding down Charlie's thigh and *squeezing* and I think I might have passed out from the hot. Heh. That was a really good kiss.
I think this show has won me over. Help!
Teachers. Hey, dearstranger1, I remembered this time! Man, I *love* this show. I must get the DVDs, even if I will have to order them from overseas. So that was the actual Season 3 finale, which hadn't aired here yet. Thanks for confusing me, ABC.
Anyway, I know most people will love oldschool Teachers because of Simon and, yeah, I love Simon, too. But I think my favourite season is 3. There was *some* Simon (and Andrew Lincoln directed the last 2 eps so was there in spirit) but it was really the season where Kurt and Brian came into their own and they truly are the heart and soul of the show. The next season is gonna be weird without them.
And you know who else I'm gonna miss? Matt. I love Matt! Okay, so I've loved James Lance before he was Matt, but still. I'm so glad we got this ep with Lindsay/Matt because I've been waiting for that, and it was so cute to see them fighting their attraction because he shouldn't like fat chicks and she shouldn't like married assholes yet somehow they've clicked. At least Lindsay will be staying for the final season. She's the only one I really care about now.
And Kurt & Brian got a good sendoff. The gay! I loved Kurt getting into Brian's bed after his nightmare, and then the morning after. So cute! The conga at the end was adorable, too. There *must* be Kurt/Brian drunken sex fic around, right? There's no way people could have watched this show and *not* written Kurt/Brian at some point.
Veronica Mars. I really don't have much to say except that Piz is the cutest cutie ever and I want one of my very own. I *like* what they're doing with the so-called triangle. If things change in the future and V starts, like, dating Piz, we'll need to re-evaluate, but the beauty of being spoiler-free is being able to live in the moment and I'm enjoying the moments thus far.
And Logan's rescue at the end was kinda predictable (but I did chuckle at Veronica's "Stan Marsh" moment. Heh.) I loved Vinnie's much more, though. Vinnie is awesome.
That's all I've got. Can Mac stop being Heather and come back now?
