I think Diechman from Kyle XY is going to be on Psych this week. Possibly as a comic book geek. There is no way you want to miss this, okay?
What happened to Geekman, anyway? It's my one disappointment with Kyle at the moment. The kid was shafted to make way for Declan's total boycrush on Kyle. Not that I don't appreciate the Kyle/Declan (KyDec?), but still.
I love how *reluctant* Declan is to act on his feelings. He stuffs his hands in his pockets, shuffles his feet, but can't resist in the end. It's cute. And Kyle is completely oblivious to the fact that Dec keeps starting at him and standing too close when talking to him and Dec's completely *loving* the fact that he has this secret life with Kyle that nobody else shares.
And he was so adorable at the hospital with his, "I need to see Kyle," thing and when he's in the room, he doesn't quite know how to stand or where to put his hands, and Kyle's just *smiling* at Dec's concerned!face from his bed and I *love*.
Lori's worried about Dec running off with another girl, but sheesh, she should be worried about her foster brother. Stephen doesn't trust the kid who was involved in a hit-and-run and "deflowered their daughter" so imagine how he'd explode if he knew about *this*. Heh.
I feel like poor Josh has been shoved back a little lately, though. Kyle was his constant buddy early on, but then Kyle grew up a little and attached himself to Laurie and Declan more. He needs more of a story than just the grades thing, which *is* a nice contrast to Kyle, who is supersmart with no effort while Josh has to work hard to barely pass, but yeah. At least he discovered Kyle's superhearing. He's moved on from alien to superhero theories, which is cute.
Hm, I tend to focus on the family/relationship stuff rather than the big damn conspiracies. I can't think of anything I really need to say about Madacorp and Foss except that Aunt Nell is involved in some creepy evil shit since she left Smallville, and maybe Lionel Luthor is funding this entire operation (if you don't think I have an entire plot forming in my head which will lead to Kyle and Conner teaming up at some point, you don't know me very well *g*)
I'd still like to learn more about Foss' motivations, though (why did he save Kyle and none of the other "subjects"? Does he really care about him, or is it some kind of experiment to see how he does in the real world? Or is Kyle's memory important to him for some reason?). And why the creepy guy didn't just kill him when he had the chance, mentor or otherwise. One ep to go. I hope they give us *something*.
Oh, yes, so the point of this post was to say WATCH PSYCH. It's the most fun you'll have in front of a glowing box all week, trust me.
