jlu - alive (part 1)
I *was* going to talk about VMars tonight, but then I decided to watch JLU first and now I can't think about anything else. Heh.
First up, a not very spoilery clip to lighten the mood because I am a dirty-minded fangirl. It's spoilery if you don't even want to know which characters are in the ep, but doesn't give away plot.
And if *that* spooked your spoiler virginity, don't click on the
Dude. Dude! It wasn't until the end that I realised we went through almost the entire ep without seeing an actual *hero*, but that's probably because I kinda view Lex as a hero, anyway. He does dirty, dirty things to me when he's all leader-like and power-hungry and wanting to be a god. *fans self*
I also must mention that I find Bizarro's loyalty to Lex so very cute. He's like a big cumbersome dimwitted puppy who keeps breaking your furniture and chewing your curtains but you keep him around because he makes you smile. I love that Lex indulges the big lug, and is rewarded for it. OTP!
Toyman? Creeps me out. So, so much. Can we kill him off in the final ep?
And the plotty stuff - Dude! Lex tries to bring back Brainiac (such the obsessive, Lex) but ends up with Darkseid who *blows him up*. Then the following clip happens.

Annnnnnd, roll credits. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! The finale cannot come soon enough! OMG! Think of the fic that can come from that final moment alone! They better bring Flash back for it, though. Those Flash-centric eps were one thing, but I wanna see my guy fighting alongside the big guns like the good old days.
In other TV news, I just realised that the hot dinner lady in Teachers is Annie from "Life on Mars. It takes me a while, but I get there eventually. *g* I'm sad that Teachers finished tonight - I'm gonna miss Brian and Kurt especially, and I hear they don't come back for the next season (along with Matt) so I don't know if I'd still watch just for Lyndsay who would be the only good one left. *shrug*
And also, I just stumbled upon this rumour of interest to fans of space westerns which is a couple of days old and probably debunked by now (considering the source and all. ahem) but my first thought? "Dammit, don't tease me like that!" Oddly, it wasn't something like a squee or an omg. When'd I get so cynical?
Finally, a couple of Drawn Together clips.
Because every superhero show needs a good funeral scene. Hee, the black outfits kill me.
