random stuff
The yay:
+ Just got an email saying that Telstra will connect my ADSL line on the 11th. Whee! Then I just have to arrange a time when the ISP people can come and hook up my modem etc (which I'm pretty sure I could handle myself but, hey, they do it for free and I figure I might be able to sneakily ask them if I should think about getting a new fan - since mine's making odd noises sometimes - without having to pay for a callout fee or take it into the shop.)
+ Went online shopping with my trusty credit card last night. For, get this, *Christmas* presents. I plan to be organised this year, yo. NaNo took over last year in November leaving little time to get things done afterwards and I don't want that to happen again.
+ And I may have picked up some stuff for me, too, like the VM TWOP shirt, anime box sets, gay-themed DVDs...okay, most of the shopping was for me. *g*
The OMG I don't believe this:
- SV torrent finally finished overnight when it suddenly decided to work. I go to watch at lunch...and the file's corrupt and won't play. I'd be tearing my hair out if it wasn't so *funny*.
